Wendell Scott legacy Scholarship Application

The Wendell Scott Legacy Scholarship is a valuable opportunity for deserving students. This scholarship honors the legacy of Wendell Scott, the first African American NASCAR driver to win at the highest level. It provides financial support to students pursuing higher education, helping them achieve their academic and career goals. By awarding this scholarship, we aim to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders to make a positive impact in their communities, just like Wendell Scott did on and off the racetrack.

The Wendell Scott Foundation is proud to offer a $2000 scholarship to assist students with tuition, books, and fees for one academic year. The 2026–2027 Wendell Scott Legacy Scholarship application is now open. Eligible students are encouraged to apply and continue the legacy of excellence, resilience, and leadership inspired by Wendell Scott.
