DREAM 34 PRESENT THE INAUGURAL "I HAVE A DREAM CLASSIC"

GREENSBORO, NC—DREAM 34, a program proudly supported by the Wendell Scott Foundation to serve underserved youth, is excited to announce the inaugural I Have A Dream Classic, taking place on Monday, January 20th, 2025, at the Novant Health Fieldhouse. This highly anticipated event combines elite basketball with a mission to empower the next generation while celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The day tips off at 1:00 PM with an NBA G-League Classic featuring the Greensboro Swarm versus the Grand Rapids Gold. Immediately following at 3:30 PM, the court will host the DREAM 34 "I Have a Dream Classic," spotlighting hometown heroes, collegiate standouts, and aspiring overseas professionals. This exciting doubleheader provides thrilling basketball action and serves as a fundraiser for DREAM 34’s youth basketball camps and other community initiatives.

Participating athletes can showcase their skills with professional game footage shared with scouts and coaches across DREAM 34’s extensive network. Adding to the event's significance, DREAM 34 will debut its signature "Galaxie" uniforms, inspired by Wendell Scott’s historic 1966 Ford Galaxie race car. The uniforms pay homage to NASCAR’s first African American driver and groundbreaking legacy.

Tickets for this can’t miss the doubleheader, which is available now and covers entry to both games.
