From Monday, May 15th to Friday, August 18th, you can play an active role alongside our experienced executive director. You'll support data analysis research, develop grants & program collateral, and maintain databases, plus have lots of opportunities to learn along the way so that by Fall, you are ready with newfound knowledge and professional work experience.
As you work with our team, you'll learn more about Wendell Scott, the only African American driver to win a NASCAR Cup Series race. You'll also understand the Foundation's mission and see firsthand how we work to strengthen the community. Whether you're interested in data analysis, grant writing, or community engagement, you'll gain experience and knowledge.
Play an active role in the community: The foundation serves the Danville, Virginia, community, and supporting our work means that you will be working on real community issues. You can study, learn and give back to the local community. Working in a team helps in the faster achievement of goals to bring about positive change where it is most needed.
